University programme supports over 500 local businesses to innovate
Since July 2016, Nottingham Trent University’s Enabling Innovation programme has supported over 500 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
In the first of a series of snapshot videos, find out how Enabling Innovation has helped support Affari Media, Hallam Internet Ltd and OFFUNDO Limited develop new products, services and talent into their organisation.
The programme has helped businesses to introduce innovation through development of new products and designing new services. Enabling Innovation has utilised funds from the European Regional Development Fund, supporting SMEs to bring something new to their company or market place.
Businesses have received support in the form of expert-led consultancy, mentoring, product design, access to industry leading facilities and funding to recruit graduates.
The programme has already delivered over 140 events with more workshops planned until April 2019.
